Archive for the ‘build twitter following’ Category
Last year I signed up to twitter and built up quite a following, plenty of people who I used to get along with I havent been on mine since a month or so ago when things got kind of heated and people whom I thought were friends ended up crapping all over my friendship.
I havent sent a tweet in a long time and to go through my list of people and block each one who I have been treated badly by would be too arduous a task so am thinking of just deleting the whole damn account and starting afresh.
Has anyone else with a twitter account been in the same situation?
Sorry, I can’t help you on this one.
I’m more of a "free range bunny" … I’m not a Twit! :o)~
Nothing happens to those who follow the crowd
than becoming enemies of their own freedom.
Following the crowd hinders your ability
to be creative, and freedom to think differently!
For instance, Twitter users… on the sidebar where you can minimize and then restore the Trending Topics list or Following list without actually loading a new web page. The module is just built in. Any help?
That’s a good answer to the first person, but how would I think set up a link to display it on the page?
I answered a question that is kind of like this one. The way to set it up is the same though, so have a look at this:

Good lucik with it.
I can advise you on the following:
* Social Media Profiling – Setup of profiles & basic methods on how to use each platform.
* Long term community building strategies.
* Analysis of your web visitors (who is visiting you? Are you reaching the right demographic? Visitor stats and analytics)
* Blog Creation & Strategy – Building a reputation and the key to reader engagement.
* Twitter – Gaining followers and Twitter promotion / education and participation strategies.
* Social Media Monitoring – This includes showing you how to follow conversations and how to respond.
Lol nope. I’m good, thanks (:
All twitterers, please answer.
Basically, I’m asking, how to use Twitter successfully?
I’ve started recently with Twitter, find me on Twitter @stvbsll
I’ve been following the Dos’ and avoiding the Donts’, that is:
- I use for my enjoyment, sharing a piece of information that I heard either on mainstream media or alternative/independent news …
- I don’t have a brand or anything to promote yet… I’m still working on a personal website and blog that I will launch in the near future…so i’m using Twitter to build a community of followings + followers, then when my website is ready for publishing i’ll have additional traffic to my website and blog.
people might say there is no such thing as a Twitter strategy … I think there are!? What do you think?
On my Twitter, I have 1 follower, and I am following 5.
The ‘follower’ has 8,291 (following) and (10,818) followers
The 5 people that I am following have the characteristics:
#1: 24 (following) and 15 (followers)
#2: 27,208 (following) and 806,623 (followers)
#3: 10 (following) and 105,093 (followers)
#4: 512 (following) and 1,206,551 (followers)
#5: 155 (following) and 1,196,016 (followers)
Person #1 has the lowest numbers of ‘following’ and ‘followers’… I’ve sent her a tweet 3 days ago but got no response … figure that I should read her tweets and come up with an interesting tweet to send her.
The others have such large numbers of ”following’ and ‘followers’… perhaps I should just give up on them and find other people in order to tweet back and forth … and build a community
try this to get more followers http://viralfollowers.com/omarabs/vu/
follow me as well http://twitter.com/omarabs
If you think about it twitter is a very basic social networking site and yet it has over 25,000,000 users, i make around £2-300 a week from this website http://chronicsuccess.co.nr which is great and i do reccommend but im looking to make money from building my own site from scratch, i have built a few and have an automated website built from http://zoose1.com and make about £50 a week selling ebooks but i dont understand why twitter is so popular just the fact that you follow people?
They are all scams and spams, better to stay away from all this BS.
I live in Seattle and pay over $1100 in rent for a very small apt. The walls are very thin and my neighbor pretty much knows all about me. I am pretty sure my neighbor is a drug dealer, and Seattle is not a very friendly city. The women are beautiful, but very obsessed with cell phones, twitter, how many people they can get to follow them, etc. I just have zero interest in the whole thing, but it seems esp. prevalent in Seattle.
I work from home and there is no sense living in the city. I am looking for a quieter but fun place with lots of hiking and outdoor activities. I have never lived in Utah but people tell me I would love it. I like the weather here, clouds and rain, but like thunderstorms better. I build web sites but I am not into the whole Twitter/cell phone/texting obsession that takes you away from the moment. I am looking for an affordable, fun, nice place to live with beautiful surroundings, a nice coffee shop, and Whole Foods
Any Suggestions?
I have only driven though Ogden but it seems like a very nice place to live been there many times as a truck driver

With our country torn in multiple directions, no one is trusting the other sides or believing in our government what so ever, what happens now? With cable news (all channels), internet news, blogs, twitter, ect, people from all sides are showing how they feel and what they believe more than any other time in history. My question is, what happens now? Do we continue to argue with each other? Lose friends and family because of our different opinions? Do we wait until one side "fires the first shot?" What happens to us now that the United States are no longer united? Do we put down our keyboards and try to find common ground to build on? Or do we follow the lead regardless of what happens to the upcoming generation? I can’t find the answers to these questions, but I want to know. This is a serious question, I want to know how to answer the children that ask them.
Well if we do not stand up and fight against this oppression America will become a third world country. And will probably be rough financial times ahead—–with the practices of the redistribution of wealth we would see a mass exodus of the wealthy to a more stable environment for their wealth —-this would leave us with two classes—–the middle class and the poor—-it is a frightmarish scenario—-we can stop them if we pull our heads out of the couch and get involved——our voices and our votes will count

Ok, I met someone two weeks ago on Blip.FM, then we started following each other on Twitter. I’ve read her blog, which is quite extensive, and she seems neat. However, some how I cannot get things to move to the next level of exchanging emails and chatting. Both Twitter and Blip.FM have limited communication formats (character limits, etc.). I don’t want to weird her out, and even though I don’t know her well (we live on different sides of the planet and even speak different languages, although she speaks some English), I do want build more of a friendship. At first she seemed to enjoy all the songs I played for her on BLIP.FM, but now I’m afraid she is getting tired of me. Maybe I’m just insecure. Anyway, some advice would be appreciated.
Just be cool in your direction. Dont let her see you neverous or sweat be confident in your direction you will take with her. Just say hey its really cool chatting with you wanna swap email addresses? leave it like that dont’ push dont’ harp the ball is now in her court. see how she reacts.
